Quilt Aid is a project where 12 designers and 12 shops have joined together to bring you a wonderful choice of quilts to make with the added benefit of supporting a charity.
As designers we were given a gorgeous pack of fabrics from XLN and asked to design a block with the theme 'Bluebird of Hope' - at the time Quilt Aid details arrived I was stitching blocks for Tail Feathers and had lots of bird sketches scattered around the studio.
My block is called 'Blossom Delight' and is available online at The Quilter Angel
Each of the 12 stores chosen have designed their own finishing kits so there are 12 different variations for you to select from - you can view all 12 quilts at the Quilt Aid Finishing Kit Gallery. Sou brasileira, não sei falar inglês, porém ainda assim deixo meus parabéns´pelos trabalhos tão criativos e bem feitos. Gostaria de fazer pelo menos parecidos. Tenho 67 anos, mas acho que ain da posso aprender.

Je ne parle pas du tout anglais et ne le comprend encore moins. Mais je suis sur d'une chose c'est que j'adore ce que vous faite. C'est mon rayon de soleil en broderie couture.

Hi - loved your block Natalie - I've finished the quilt (being one of the 12 shops) and can say that your beautiful block made a really great change from all the blanket stitch applique! I spent some happy time at Easter stitching yours.
And now that I have seen the Tail Feathers quilt too I am sooo tempted....

Your work is absolutely amazing. I love it. I have not been able to read your blog daily (Dad w/ cancer) but will certainly do better.
