Wow - you girls sure love red, I hope you all had fun popping your name in the hat. Boy I need one huge hat this time around.
Remember back here when I said there was one lucky person? Well, I changed my mind...there will be TWO winners. Just because. TWO patterns and TWO sets of handles.
Natalie from Eissua...and...Chookyblue....you are the lucky winners - congratulations! There will be an email from me in your inbox this evening so I can package up your prize and pop it in the post.
So now it is time to have a look around Marion's store up in Highfields and these pictures could tell 100 stories - just imagine what you could create.
After Tail Feathers you know how much I love Joanna's fabric - this is the Mill House Inn collection (designed by Fig Tree Quilts), I spent a little time in this corner of the store and came home with a little bit of fig tree goodness.
Sushi Rolls from Lecien in Grandmothers Flower Garden
COSMO & DMC bundles of thread
And the most delicious flannel fabric I have seen....ever. Yep, on the other side of this stand there was Folksy Flannel from Anna Marie Horner. I squished a FQ bundle into my suitcase, and almost sat on the lid of my case to close it (don't laugh, you would have too).
I hope you have enjoyed a little glimpse of The Quilters Angel, if you are ever in Highfields you must drop in and say hi to Marion, you will LOVE this place.
Til then,
Natalie x

I think you need a suitcase sitter closer person. On your next trip... I raise my hand and volunteer!! And I'll bring an empty suitcase for me!

I love flannel. So warm and wonderful to be snuggling into in the winter. They are such lovely bright colors also. Very beautiful.

Hey Natalie! After chatting to Marion this week and reading your posts, I'm doubly sorry I couldn't come out to play with you all on the weekend - maybe next time! And your photos have now shown everyone why I refer to Quilters Angel as my home-away-from-home! :0) Marion trains her fabric to follow us home, you know! Tee! Hee! Hee! Glad you had a great ... if muddy ... time at Highfields! Bear Hugs! KRIS

Hi Natalie, I think I love fig tree fabrics too! The Tail Feathers BOM was so popular, I had to make some more up in another fabric range. I chose the Mill House Inn fabrics like in your picture! There are a few left, and then I might need to make up some more!
And I wish I had that cabinet, with or without the fabric!

Congratulations to the lucky winners! What a thrill to win such nice things!
And what a wonderful little shop you visited Natalie! I doubt I'll ever have the chance to stop in, but it sure is fun to see what kind of places there are out there in the big quilting world!
I can't really complain though since I spend a whole day at Keepsake Quilting while on vacation each summer!

Congratulations, ladies! I didn't enter, I figured since I still haven't made the pattern I won here awhile back I had no business. But I was lusting over it, big time. One day I will have all of the time to finish everything I want to.
