I wonder where the last week has gone?
I have been busy pattern writing and proof reading this week for a wonderful on-line sewing retreat with Quilt Fabric Delights - It's July, Christmas in July to be exact.
Here is another peep at the project designed exclusively for QFD. Flower Sugar II fabric fro Lecien looks divine doesn't it? I could bathe in it and wear it, I love it that much.
Here is another peak here and here if you missed it last week.
The pattern "Snowballs for Christmas" won't be released until a few months after the end of July so, if you are wishing you had signed up...the more the merrier - registration is still open, please come and join us, you will love it and the gorgeous projects!
What else is happening?
Oh, yeah - this little cutie has been making me dizzy this week in the Cinderberry studio, I even found her sucking on a squeeze bottle of Rosella tomato sauce a few days ago. She was so hyper-excited she didn't come down for 48 hours, goodness knows how much she managed to drink.
I love this munchkin to pieces, sauce or no sauce.
Who wouldn't - just look at that smile.
Samples on display!
A selection of my Christmas samples have been packed up this week for a trip over to the gorgeous store - Country Quilt Co. in North Ipswich QLD.
It's the Christmas in July Shop Hop so if you have the chance please drop in and visit Suzanne and take a look at the original Cinderberry Stitches samples like Sublime Season and Raspberry Cream (to name a few), be sure to say hello for me! If you would like to hop on the bus and join in the fun here is the place to visit.
I guess, you are really wondering who are the lucky people to win the sweet fabric bundles? Thank you for blogging, tweeting, facebooking and telling your friends, neighbors and sewing groups about Quilt Aid 2010. Word of mouth and social networking is a powerful thing, and if it helps spread the word even a little you have made my day.
So to the three winners...congrats!
Blue Grass Wren: wins 1 x pack of eight fat quarters.
Jen says - "Hi I have blogged about quilt aid on my blog and also on face book. I am anxious to help . It its a great cause. I am living in such a wonderful country want to give back".A Little Stitching: wins 1 x pack of seven fat eighths.
Kerry says - "Thanks Natalie for the opportunity to spread the word on such a worthy cause and have a chance to win some lovely fabric as well. I've blogged about it and put up a link as well. Thanks again."Natalie Lay: wins 1 x pack of six 13½ x 6½ inch strips.
Natalie says: "Hi Natalie, I don't have a blog etc etc, but I have joined up for the program for 2010! Please, please, please, hop, jump, skip, hop!!!!!! I hope my name comes out! Thank you for being so generous."
hmmmm.....If that's your name above, a little parcel of fabric will be on it's way to you shortly just as soon as I get your postal address!
Tonight I hope to spend some time on the couch drawing, brain storming and sketching after all, it's really the place where the journey begins.
Till then,
Natalie x

Oh! What lovely big toothy pegs she has and a glorious sparkle in her eyes. What lucky readers and an interesting sneak peek also.
