Girls & dolls, like peas and carrots are often found together.
So I thought Girls & Dolls was the perfect name for my latest design, you might remember seeing this little girl before, and you have - she was featured in the Homespun magazine last year along side this little boy (Xavier) from the last post.
Complete with her caterpillar friend she has finally become part of the Cinderberry pattern collection. I know that will make many girls happy, because I have had quite a few enquiries about her!
I love her blossom pram parasol and the way baby is peeping around the corner on this photo - sweet.
Holding hands with a well loved dolly - her first best friend forever.
Girls & Dolls is packaged with a complete alphabet so you can personalise the stitching to suit any little girl in your life. This would be a unique addition to a new nursery or if you feel creative enough you could even turn Girls and Dolls into a perfect cot quilt by adding extra borders...hmm - the ideas are endless!
This new design is a simple little quilt to make and give as a gift or just make yourself to celebrate the arrival of your little one.
For me it will be used as a special play blanket for one of Isabelle's dolls - she love nothing better than playing Mummy and baby doll games at the moment so it will become another one of those 'Mummymade' quilts.
The pattern was sent express post to my distributor yesterday, so check with your local patchwork store or view the list of stores stocking Cinderberry Stitches patterns to place your order - the new Girls & Dolls pattern will be arriving soon!
