Sometimes life just fills in the gaps and I can't find the right moment to post, or I have not been cozy enough with my camera to catch an inspiring photo. Either way, I extended the last competition a few days to catch up just a little.
It was lovely reading over your comments and I am glad to here so many love the same kind of days I do with kids laughing, a little (or a lots of) sewing, great friends and ample time to just chill out. Sounds perfect - even better if someone else cooks the dinner.
Congratulations to both Shari and Heidee the two lucky girls who get both 'Sail Away' and the 'Girls & Dolls' patterns delivered to their mail box. I will send you an email tonight so I can get your patterns in the post and off to you as soon as possible.
So what have I been playing with in the studio over the last week?
Finally I got to open these.....yep, it's a Sherbet Pips fat quarter pack.
Love the Pips, seriously - love it.
I know it is going to be one of those lines I wish would never run out, it's that dream every quilter has at some stage and it won't be the last time I think I utter those words (I say it every time the new season Flower Sugar is released).
So at the risk of never seeing another Sherbet Pip's stack in my studio I did what every other blogger does, and photographed it a dozen times. Maybe more.
There. Moment caught, forever.
Then I got to work making quarter square triangles.
Now they are scattered over the cutting table and making my space happy.
It is going to be fun putting this project together.
