Firstly I would like to thank you for all the messages of support I have received about the up coming release of my book Cotton Floss, I am equally excited as you although holding my breath in anticipation for the May release.
Must remember to breathe, right?
Many stores have started pre-order lists for the book so if you are interested in getting your hands on a copy as soon as they arrive just come over here - to the new pre-order page (Store details will be updated regularly).
Last time we spoke I promised a few more peeks at projects from Cotton Floss -
You may have seen this image before on the new blog banner above - it is one of my favorite shots amongst the Cotton Floss photos. It was taken in the front yard of the Lymer ranch, in the distance you can see the fresh cut flowers and the 'Toadstool Pin Rest' I showed you in detail just a few days ago.
But what is that in the foreground?
It's called 'The Big Bag' - loads of spotty goodness, and the second creation in Cotton Floss. There are 12 new designs in the book so I have a few more things up my sleeve to share with you in the next few weeks.
Right now this is my new bag love, something about the yellow lining against the red fabric, or maybe the stitched toadstool village or the combination of all three.
Whatever it is this bag makes me happy.
Even these friendly guys seem to enjoy hanging out with 'The Big Bag' - that's my kind of owl.
Next time I will officially introduce you to Stella & Henry and their Family - there is quite a tribe of them in Cotton Floss.
Till then,
Natalie xo

Oh how I love Big Bags...Always have and this one is perfect in every way. Can't wait to ge my little ole' hands on the pattern. Now about those owls. Before my losing my mom to breast cancer many years ago (1976), she collected owls, ceramic, fabric, large, small...it didn't matter as long as she didn't have one and it unique in some way, and Natalie, I just know she would adore these owls. I inherited her love of owls but just a couple of pieces from here collection. I'm sure I will have to add these owls to my 'must have list', along with the Big Bag. Thanks for sharing your wonderful talents with us. Hugs...

I'm not normally into making bags (I leave that to my quilt buddies), but this bag might end up being the exception! Can't wait for this book to be out!
