I have been thinking a lot lately about new dreams and directions for Cinderberry, what things I love to do and what I need to do to make them happen. I know it sounds cryptic but it's really not.
I do what makes me and my family happy.
More often lately, I pull out my pencil, sketch paper and draw. What comes from my scribbles is put aside in the design folio or placed on the table in the studio to rest a while - allow my head to get around the design and think about what I can create with it, allowing it time to 'breathe'.
Some designs are inked and some sit in grey lead just waiting for the right moment. As I look past the laptop and over at the studio table I realise I have enough sketches to last me a lifetime, some are on paper the rest wait in my mind.
For me, that's the exciting part of imagination, it is limitless and you never know what door is about to open.
So this week the scribbles are waiting. Could they be new stitchings, greeting cards or fabric designs in the making?
Yes quite possibly.
That is why I love what I do.
Till then,
Natalie x

You're such an inspiration. I love your designs and creativity.
I have been asked to design some stitcheries for the shop I work in. I've been there four weeks now and it has been a real whirlwind of new experiences not really allowing me the time to design. To be honest, I don't even know where to start or how to but I'm not going to give in.
Thanks for being such an inspiration.
