I have decided to sketch more, scribble everyday and let my imagination run. Just a quick sketch is all I am planning, 365 drawings in one little book, a way of getting back to what I love - just pencil & paper.

A wise person would have begun this on the 1st January. But I am not wise.
Here are the first few sketches to fill the white space......his name is Stanley.
I love his whiskers.

and then he decided to make a spectacle of himself.

For now his home is inside my 'Sketch a Day' journal - one day he might be stitched, coloured or even appear on fabric, his future is bright, he just needs to rest a while before he gets into greater mischief.
It's now time for me to complete a little scribble for Day #3 - I am guessing I won't come back here every day to share my 365 sketches but I will keep you posted from time to time.
I am armed with blank paper and a pencil, and I have a spare 5 minutes.
Anything is possible.

I adore Stanley, love his tear drop eyes. I like him with or without glasses. :D

So excited - my 2 favourite designers are both doing 365 day artist challenges. Have you heard of Sarah Jane Studios?
