I like to use either fine iron on cotton interfacing (called weaveline) or fine iron on pellon (called Vilene H630). Both are very nice to work with and easy for the needle to stitch through.

Hi Natalie, JUst traced your needlecase design and noticed on the directions " fuse iron on pellon to back" -- is this fusible interfacing and what weight - featherweight or light. Since it is fusible, is it
hard to hand embroider through.
Can't wait to start.... want to follow your directions. Thanks for your help and especially for the great blog and your outstanding talent.
